So this morning I’m at my favourite coffee place called Brunette in Melbourne and I love having a cannoli with my coffee but there were no cannolis in the trays.

So I asked, “Are there any cannolis this morning?”

To which? She replied, “No”

And then me being me, of course, I asked a bit further because I want the cannoli, and I know that they probably have it in the back already, but they just haven’t put it out for display.

She says, “Yeah, sure. I think they’re out the back.”

And then she proceeds to go to the back, bring the tray out, and give me a cannoli with my coffee.

Yep, it’s that simple.

So my question to you is, do you accept what is given or not in life?

Or do you ask for what you want?

You can’t just accept what others are prepared to give you, you have to ask for what you want if you want to live on your terms and money is no different.

Are you simply accepting what you have and where you’re at?

Or do you want more and have you asked for more, have you challenged the status quo, or are you playing the nice girl and accepting what is dished out, never is my answer!!!

Have you been courageous enough to push through what society, your work, and the people around you, allow you to have?
